MultipleMinds

Multiple Minds is a solo, audiovisual live electronics performance based on a chaotic synthesizer called ATOX. This synthesizer consists of three sawtooth oscillators that cross-modulate each other. The sonic result consists of dense drones and unpredictable bursts of melodic noise. These sounds are mirrored by a projection of three bars that flicker in correspondence to the activity of each oscillator. The performances of Multiple Minds investigate the origin of the creation of the sonic behaviors and ask if the technology is merely executing commands or whether there is an inherent creativity at play.
