Sound Art Installation

  Threshold Shift

Threshold Shift is a sound art installation investigating the grey area between curiosity and fear. An incredibly loud sound source is hidden inside a heavily sound insulated cube. The front side of the cube opens like a drawer, allowing the sounds to burst out. The loudness quickly becomes too much to bear, which prompts the audience to close the drawer again, yet the rumblings call out to the bystanders, urging them to open the drawer once again.
