Lilla Sol
Lilla Sol is a dance theater piece for solo dancer and vibrational objects, aimed at children with hearing impairments. The piece is developed by scenographer Maria Victoria Høvring Høeg in collaboration with the dancer Rita Maria Muñoz Farias. The lighting is designed by Thomas Bruvik and the sound and vibrations are performed live by myself. The dance choreography takes its inspiration from sign language, starting with a sequence of phrases that then set the dance in motion. On the floor there are several fluffy objects that have various low frequency shakers inside of them. These objects are activated during the piece by the dancer who eventually invites the audience to join her onstage and experience the vibrations first hand.
